Speaking Silence

Speaking Silence is a group of kids from Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church (Gainesville, FL) who interpret songs through sign language. Sign language is a very expressive form of communication and interpreting songs through sign language is even more expressive...in fact, it can be very powerful.

I had my first meaningful exposure to this art form when I was living in Sunrise, FL. It was at an art festival in Lauderhill, FL. In addition to fine art and good food there was a youth group that interpreted songs through sign language. They were awesome.
